Sixteen matches after losing the first two competitive matches of the season, Arsenal have remained unbeaten. Emery’s Gunners fell to City and Chelsea before embarking on a winning run.
That winning run came to end with the 2-2 draw at Crystal Palace. The late penalty denied Arsenal a 12th consecutive win. The Gunners defeated Bristol City in the league cup before facing Liverpool.
It could have ended the unbeaten run that just gained momentum but sixteen passes led Lacazette’s well taken equalizer with 8 minutes left on the clock. The Gunners had the momentum all through that game but James Milner’s 61st minute goal took the wind of the Gunners’ sail.
A draw from the reds looks good but three consecutive Premier League draws have left Arsenal in 5th position, 3 points behind Spurs.
With Bournemouth next, Arsenal must get back to winning ways else this unbeaten run will taste sour with a 4th consecutive draw or even a defeat.
We head to the Cherries with 16 matches undefeated. We can extend it to 17, get over Vorskla in the Europa before the North London Derby.
Will Auba and Laca be on the scoresheet this weekend?
Bonus: Arsenal WFC are on fire. 10/10
