After 30 players from the four corners of the world were invited by the big boss, Stephen Keshi, the die was cast to trim that number to 23 on or before June 2, 2014.
Nigeria, like other teams, had the luxury of playing a friendly game or two to help in seiving out the unfortunate 7. It is a big decision that the coach must make and hope it turns out to be the correct decision.
Well, the boss has chosen, after the 2-2 draw with Scotland and some training. Behold the final list:

Well, the final list of the Super Eagles players is not bad, but, the defence option is the problem. Why did Keshi included that blunder defender Yobo in the final 23 men squad? This is obscure.

Very mind testing squad. Gud defence line- up, gud central mid-fild line-up, but am worried about the attacking mid-fild line-up…..why dropped Joel Obi and Obinna Nsofor?

The inclusion of Joseph Jobo is a good one; he has experience; he’s going to be an instructor to the young boys; he is not older than JT of England. we should be contented with what we have.

Calling the coach names wont make him undo the submission of the 23 man list. He is the coach and sure does knows them more. It is his selection and we can only pray that it goes well for the eagles. Some people wrote him off in the AFCON2013 for leaving out some players but he vindicated himself. Flee being abusive. It doesn’t help.

It’s really a difficult task to select a team amidst aray of stars. But i dnt think Agbim, Ameobi & Yobo were selected based on merit. Better players were sacrificed for this trio!
