After 30 players from the four corners of the world were invited by the big boss, Stephen Keshi, the die was cast to trim that number to 23 on or before June 2, 2014.
Nigeria, like other teams, had the luxury of playing a friendly game or two to help in seiving out the unfortunate 7. It is a big decision that the coach must make and hope it turns out to be the correct decision.
Well, the boss has chosen, after the 2-2 draw with Scotland and some training. Behold the final list:

Defenders:

Midfielders:

I think Stephen Keshi has carried out his technical, physical studies on these 23 men squard of super eagle. Our own duties and obligations is to keep on praying for success as a good Nigerian and the players should deliver the best of their ability. I wish them well as they move forward to Brazil 2014 WorldCup

I wonder why Keshi has to drop people like Nsofor and Sunday Mba. Everyone know very well how He (Mba) performed at the Nations cup. But i wish them luck. Though i believe Sunday has this luck in him that keeps interesting people. Well, as a coach, he knows the best.

If you ask me I will say the squad is not bad but I will miss Sunday Mbah and Ikechukwu Uche and to further more I see no reason why Joseph Yobo will be included in that squad!!! Above all I see the Super Eagles pulling the Biggest surprise at the Samba land…Sail on Super Eagles……

Nsofor was not fit. But it is Keshi’s choice. He trained with them and made his choice. So we have to make do with his choice. So many of us complained when he brought his list for AFCON 2013 but he justified his selection.
