The Super Falcons of Nigeria will face the Bayana Bayana of South Africa today in the 2nd semifinal of the 2016 Africa Women Cup of Nations ongoing in Cameroon. The two sides have met in every hosted AWCON except in 1998 & 2004 and Nigeria have won 6 of the last 7 meetings in the competition.

The Super Falcons emerged as group winners on Saturday when they thrashed Kenya 4-0 with goals from Ngozi Okobi (3), Faith Ikidi (7), Asisat Oshoala (53) and Desire Oparanozie (89). It was a first goal for Oparanozie in the tournament with her appearance restricted to cameo roles.

Meanwhile, Arsenal Ladies forward, Asisat Oshoala have scored in 5 consecutive AWCON matches for Nigeria. She currently has 5 goals in the 2016 AWCON.

In the other semifinal, host Cameroon will face Ghana for a place in the final.
