Bale recently said that he is ready to leave the Spanish and European giants Real Madrid, as quoted in the Times. The Welsh man moved to Los Blancos from Arsenal’s bitter North London rivals Tottenham back in the summer of 2013.

With Real Madrid, the 31-year-old has won La Liga twice and the Champions League four times during his time at the Santiago Bernabeu, but the winger has struggled for playing time in recent seasons and has had injury problems as well.

Bent said on talkSPORT (4:15pm, September 3, 2020):

“I would love to. He is never going to go there, but I would love to.

This is an unlikely Arsenal transfer and should be taken with a pinch of salt. It is hard to see Bale join Arsenal, this summer or anytime in the future. After all, the Welshman is a former Tottenham player, and it is unlikely that he will want to cross the North London divide.

Bale is used to winning big trophies and big competitions, and his annual salary of £30 million before tax – as reported by The Times – is also quite a lot for Arsenal.
