Arsenal are likely to be open to offers for both Eddie Nketiah and Alexandre Lacazette in the summer, according to a report from Football London.
The Gunners are heading into another crucial window after a mixed first full season under Mikel Arteta. There have definitely been some encouraging signs, but it would be no surprise to see some players leave.
Arsenal moved a number of players on in January. And it appears that further departures are on the cards in the coming months with golden riviera casino online pricing the Gabonese forward is 2/1 to join Juventus next summer.
According to Football London, both Lacazette and Nketiah are into the final 18 months of their contracts at the Emirates. And it is claimed that Arsenal are likely to be open to letting both leave in the summer.
The suggestion that both could leave may divide supporters. Nketiah is still only 21 and has only made three Premier League starts this term.
However, it does appear that he has struggled to kick on. There was plenty of hope about the youngster when he returned from his loan spell at Leeds last season. But he has not quite grasped the chance.
Lacazette meanwhile, is still Arsenal’s joint top goalscorer this term. The Frenchman has eight goals in the top flight. And he was arguably one of the players who helped inspire the Gunners’ turnaround after Christmas. As they play Benfica on Thursday night, the Frenchman is in line to make the starting lineup. The Gunners have a super boost with casino games to make it six win in a roll if they can cruise past the Portuguese side.
But he is on around £182,000-a-week, according to Spotrac. And it would potentially be a gamble to keep him into the final year of his deal. So perhaps it would be smart to consider any significant offers that do come in.
It should be noted that the report does not close the door on either player staying next season by any means. They are simply likely to be open to letting them move on.
While that does not mean that they will go, it would perhaps hint that both men are unlikely to be offered a new contract – or they certainly have a lot to do to earn fresh terms as things stand.
Do not let Nketiah go, he is a very good young player, and will only get better, Lacazette yes , he has had his best with Arsenal.
