Yesterday, I landed at the JFK International Airport from Mexico City and behold the city of New York. Connected with my Port Harcourt buddie Fisco and drove down to New Jersey.
My Viva flight was Mexican. The flight attendants were all on the Mexican home Jersey. They are sponsors of the Mexican national team. Impressive.
The Metlife Stadium in New Jersey will host the final of the World Cup but first we have the Norway vs Senegal game by 8pm local time. In the other Group I game, France will play Iraq.
In Group J, Argentina will start the day with a game against Austria in Dallas, before Jordan play Algeria in the last game of the day.
My predictions: Argentina 3-0 Austria, Jordan 0-0 Algeria, France 2-0 Iraq, Norway 1-2 Senegal.

Yesterday, Spain recorded their first win in the tournament – 4-0 over Saudi Arabia. Lamine Yamal scored the opener before Mikel Oyarzabal got a brace. In the other group H game, Cape Verde played out a 2-2 draw with Uruguay.
In Group G, Belgium were held to a 0-0 draw by Iran. Egypt moved to the top of the table with a 3-1 win over New Zealand. The group is still open.
Kudos to Egypt and Cape Verde. The African teams are grabbing the points.
