Gooners worldwide toasted their drinks to their former greedy star Emmanuel Adebayor as he handed Arsenal a revengeful victory against the spurs down the lane.

A cosmopolitan Arsenal team comprising a Pole and a Belgian, 2 Germans, 2 Spaniards, and 2 Englishmen and 3 Frenchmen started against Tottenham at the emirates. A win was needed and a win they got.
Despite having a knack for scoring against Arsenal when he plays against arsenal, an early bath was the best gift $eyi gave to the North London Red and Whites. The gunners had gone down by the Nigerian-born Togolese’s goal after 10minutes of kick off but the lanky forward had a high stud-showing challenge on Saint Santi 8 minutes after his goal.Webb issued a deserved RED.
Ade-mumu, as he is fondly called in Nigeria by some gooners, has now been sent off 4 times in his English premier League Career and Howard Webb now has the odd record of sending him off 3 out of these 4 times.
Well, the rest is history.Metersacker opened his scoring account for Arsenal after nodding a pin point cross from Theo “sign da ting” Walcott. Podolski and Girould scored just before the break thanks to good play from Arteta and Cazorla respectively.
Carzola made it 4-1 before Bale gave Tottenham False hope to make it 4-2. Walcott quenched every Villa-Boa-ric comeback hopes by making it 5-2.
So just February last season (this year):
- Adebayor scores and bale threatens
- A defender started our comeback: Per Metersacker
- Walcott plays well and scores the last goal
- The game ends 5-2. 5pur2
The goals and assists were great and I love that fourth goal: a Szczesny goal kick, a Giroud flick-on, a Walcott control and pass down the left, a Podolski run and square play, tap-in by Cazorla.

5 different scorers and we feel The Arsenal is back. Our forward men are on fire and hope the flame keeps glowing. Giroud Promised and he is fulfilling. We should have scored more but Hugo Lloris and Ramsey et al had other ideas. Hope we send Montpellier down the drain on Tuesday in the Champions League.
The weekend was sweet for me as Norwich dented Manchester United’s streak and the little boy in the Dutch couldn’t save the Red Devils. He was asleep. Chelsea continued their backtracking, losing 2-1 to Westbrom. City did whitewash Aston Villa 5-0 while Suarez made it 10 league goals in Liverpool’s 3-0 win over Wigan.
Enough of the weekend but Zlatan failed to score in PSG’s 1-2 loss at home to 9-man Rennes. Maybe he scored all his goals against the Three Lions.
In the official language of the Super Eagles of Nigeria, I say “We go see later”
