Arsenal want £20 million for Hector Bellerin, which could price Real Betis out of the market for the right-back, CBS report.

Reports making around Europe, via slot machines claims the Gunners are open to cashing on on Bellerin, who has slipped down the pecking order recently.

Bellerin saw his place threatened by Calum Chambers in the final part of last season, with the Gunners seemingly feeling that his future lies elsewhere.

CBS have previously claimed that the Spaniard would also be open to leaving the Emirates Stadium after a decade at the club.

Edu and Mikel Arteta know the importance of raising significant funds by selling Arsenal’s fringe players though, and it is thought that the club want a sizeable fee for him. The Gunners are demanding £20 million for the full-back, who has emerged as Atletico Madrid’s first choice target.

Atleti can reach Arsenal’s asking price, but it is bad news for Betis, who would only be interested on a loan unless his asking price is slashed.

If Bellerin was to move it is widely accepted that it could be best for all parties. Arsenal could use the funds to find a new right-back, which will surely be on their summer to-do list.

While a move to Atleti may be just what the former Barcelona youngster needs to revive his career, which has faltered in recent times, transfer and betting review websites in the likes of crazyvegas.com are still hoping for him to remain at the Emirates for one or more season.

If Arsenal do sell Bellerin they stand to make significant profit on the player Arsene Wenger landed for them on a free transfer, when the rapid defender was just 16 (Daily Mail).
