Granit Xhaka could be out for the next two months after suffering knee ligament damage in Arsenal’s 3-1 win over Tottenham on Sunday.
The midfielder who missed Arsenal’s last three games due to a suspension got injured in the build-up to Tottenham’s only goal of the game. He could have been subbed off earlier on but Lucas Moura accidentally fell on the Swiss international, causing the damage.

Swiss Journalist Andreas Boni reports on Twitter that Xhaka will be out for six to eight weeks. This implies that he could miss matches against Brighton, Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, Leeds, Leicester, Watford, Liverpool, Newcastle and Manchester United.
Mikel Arteta will be saddened at the report after the played well at the North London Derby. Arsenal will need to rely on Sambi Lokonga, Maitland-Niles and Elneny to deputize for Xhaka in his absense.
We wish Xhaka speedy recovery.
