A visit to Wales to face Swansea is a trip all clubs dread because of the style of play of the Swans. Their acquisation of Michu who is quick and deadly, the sprints and play of Dyer, which is suicidal could gift them three points even before the kick off. Vorm’s keeper skills cant be overlooked and they have recently been dubbed “Swansealona”. They currently have the highest possesion and passing rate in the Premier League.

But that doesnt scare a team from North London who have won their last 12 away games in all competition. Arsenal havent looked back since that first day defeat to Aston Villa at the emirates. Westbrom gave the gunners a scare in the Capitol One cup but the young gunners saw them off in the penalty kicks.

Enter Saturday, The gunners continued their fine form by silencing the welsh crowd with two quick goals in the second half. Serge Gnabry paid back Arsene Wenger’s faith in him by opening the scoring after beautiful play from Giroud and Ramsey. The excitement in the young lad knew no bound.

minutes later, the man on fire continued from where he stopped by scoring a superb goal. the goal summed up a Wilshere die-hard tackle, an Oliver Giroud back heel and a vorm touch. I enjoyed that goal the most because I don’t know why the fans were lightly booing Aaron.

One Ramsey
One Ramsey

Prior to the second goal, Ozil missed a sitter to open his gunning account. He needs to start taking those chances because I wont spare any gunner this season. we need to capitalize on our chances. prior to this match and even after, the gunners had the most lethal attack with 11 goals from 33 shots on goal.

Giroud caused a lot of scare when he limped off the pitch late in the first half. I could only smile seeing the World Best jugging and preparing to enter. Wilshere looked jaded on the left wing but Gibbs held sway. Flamini was superb, breaking down numerous attacks. Metersacker metercepted, while Koscienly Kosshelled Michu. I missed that Michu celebration.

The 2-1 win was sugar to my tummy knowing that Sir Alex Ferguson may be thinking he made a wrong decision to appoint David Moyes his successor. The Chosen had gone from being the #FourOne to the #TwoOne and ultimately the #LosingOne. He has even told the United faithful to expect more. I wonder what the Little boy would be thinking now, especially losing at home to WestBrom that our little gunners won on Pks. If only we would win the Quadruple.

Meanwhile the Special One that wept when he wasn’t selected for the Manchester United job couldn’t produce any specialty as they stole a point from Tottenham Hotspurs. it was a good result for the gunners anguishing Spurs to 2 point s adrift us.

The strongest team in the EPL could not hold at Villa as they were beaten 3-2 away. Mancini wouldn’t have lost in such ground. is Pellegrini the right man? I don’t care. they should just keep losing points.

All result went well in the gooner-way and I hope that our Napoli encounter would propel us further in the reckoning of the greats, preparing us for the titles to covet.

Bring on Napoli. Work wan kill me here. Later.
