Arsenal has not been in the best of forms as compared to their powering form. How did it all start?

It all started at the Emirates when Everton visited and stole a point with minutes left after the gunners have gone ahead 10 minutes from time. Ozil had turned in Arsenal’s seemingly winner but Defelou smashed one past Szczesny to sour the taste buds of the North Londoners. With Everton’s form, a point was deemed manageable with the gunners extending their lead on top from 4 points to 5 points.

3 days later, The gunners had the final match of the UEFA Champions League at Naples. It was a dicey game that the gunners needed to win or draw to top the group but must avoid losing by more than 2 goals margin to progress to the next stage. At the end of the game, the gunners were crest fallen losing 2-0 to Napoli although progressing to the next stage but not as group winners. Borussia Dortmund would finish top after defeating Marsielle.

Then came the trip to the blue side of Manchester. With the pride of having the best defense in the league, the gunners faced a City side that are crazy when it gets to scoring. The Abu Dhabi Dollar team were smoking hot especially in the Etihad Stadium that had turn a Slaughter Slab. The gunners were sliced into six haplessly.

The gunners scored 3 goals at the Etihad, a feat that has not be achieved this season. Theo Walcott had a brace, teaching Olivier Giroud how to score. Arsenal had various scoring chances and goals cancelled for wrong offside calls. The defence was as bare as a baby bottom and the loss of Koscienly was great. Flamini was poor, Gibbs illness published Monreal’s worst Arsenal game. The Pick of the Troubled times.

Still boaming at the loss to Manchester City, the gunners were drawn to face Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League. The outcome of the group proceedings were laid bare and facing the current champions was not on the cards.

Chelsea outser from the Capital One cup may taste good but Tottenham’s fall at White Hart Lane was a cause to smile for gunners. AVB had been sacked after losing mercilessly to Liverpool despite 100m spent in the summer. Adebayor is scoring Spurs back and Everton have refused to lose.

Now Suarez is on fire. 19 goals despite missing 8 games. Liverpool is temporarily on top until Arsenal beat Chelsea. Will Arsenal Beat Chelsea? Wenger has never beaten Jose Mourinho, can he on Monday? A loss to Chelsea would demote Arsenal to 4th and a loss for Chelsea would take them off the top 4.

It is the end of the december trying time for the Gunners. A win against Chelsea would surge Arsenal back to the top, before they take on West Ham to round the year.

I am in a remote location on the bight of benin along the Kalomo creeks. Blogging is difficult but I love Arsenal
