Arsenal’s Alex Iwobi has been invited by the Super Eagles of Nigeria to face the Pharaohs of Egypt. The young attacker was invited alongside 41 other Nigerians to face El Neny’s Egypt in a double header qualifier for the 2017 African Cup of Nations.
Alex Iwobi was first invited by newly resigned coach Sunday Oliseh but his stellar performances for Arsenal has made him one of the few names Nigerians want to see on the invitation list. Ighalo, Iheanacho and Mikel are other Premier League players invited by interim coach Samson Siasia.
