The journey to the 2018 FIFA World Cup would continue in two weeks across the world as teams jostle for places in Russia. Nigerian coach Gernot Rohr have released his list of 23 players for Nigeria’s double header against Cameroon.

Captain John Obi Mikel and Odion Oghalo who now ply their trade in China will make a return to the team. Victor Moses and Leon Balogun were also invited. Hapoel Be’er Sheva striker Anthony Nwakaeme was invited for the first time.

Ikechukwu Ezenwa is the only home based player invited. Stephen Odey was not even listed as standby.
