Arsenal have been drawn in Group H to face FC Cologne (Germany), Bate Barisov (Belarus) and Red Star Belgrade (Serbia) in the Europa League. The Gunners will start off their Europa League campaign at the Emirates against FC Cologne in three weeks time.
Arsenal finished 5th in the Premier League last season and have to make do with Thursday Night Football. FC Cologne looks like the toughest team in the group but Arsenal must not underrate the Serbians as well. Being topmost seed in the tournament this season, Arsenal have no excuse losing any group game.
In other news, Samuel Adegbenro scored twice in 10 minutes as Rosenborg knocked Ajax out of the Europa League. Ex-Gunner Nicklas Bendtner also scored in the 3-2 win for Rosenberg. The first leg ended 1-1.
