Arsenal came from a goal down to defeat Swansea City 2-1 at the Emirates to move closer to the top of the Premier League with only a point separating the Gunners and Tottenham who lost 1-0 to Manchester United at Old Trafford.
The Gunners were stunned midway into the first half with a goal from Sam Clucas. Kolasinac equalized in the 51st minute before turning provider for Aaron Ramsey for the winner 7 minutes later.
Coming From Behind
Few days ago, Arsenal needed Eddie to turn around Norwich’s 1-0 lead to a 2-1 home victory as they matched on to the semi finals of the League Cup. Away at Everton, they also came from behind to win 5-2. Is this becoming a new norm? The Gunners fell behind in the 22nd minute before scoring 2 goals in 7 second half minutes.
This goals conceded in first halves can cause a tsunami. Do they come back after the break much rejuvenated or is it overconfidence in the first half. We’ve survived the last three games. Will we survive more?
Aaron Ramsey is 50 Goals Old
Ramsey’s winner at the Emirates was his 50th goal for Arsenal and he became the 50th player to do so under Arsene Wenger for the club. Two goals in two games, the midfielder is adding goals to his records.
Kolassist
When Saed was bought, I am not sure any one of you expected him to be scoring goals and giving assists. If you did, maybe not as many as he has so far. His goal pulled Arsenal level and he assisted Ramsey for the winner.
Kolasinac was subbed off with concerns. Hopefully he is fine.
Three points collected, one point behind Spurs, joint with Chelsea. We march on.
