Arsene Wenger as revealed his delight at how well Sead Kolasinac has adapted to life at Arsenal.

The Bosnian defender arrived at The Emirates on a free transfer from Schalke in the summer window and he has been a regular fixture in the first team for the north London side.

Kolasinac was the star of the show for Wenger’s men on Saturday afternoon as they game from a goal down to claim a 2-1 victory over Swansea City in the top flight at The Emirates.

The defender looks to have adapted to life in the Premier League with ease and it seems he’ll be a key player for the Gunners in the seasons to come.

And Wenger has revealed his delight at how the new signing has so quickly adapted to life at The Emirates.

Speaking to Arsenal’s website after Saturday’s game, Wenger said: “Sead’s a winner.

“Fans want winners and he could deliver again when it was needed today. He didn’t hit it [his shot] into the stand, he hit it into the back of the net. That shows that the guy is a winner.

“He’s been a success because he’s a good football player, and he looks like he’s made for the wing-back position because he likes to go forward and the timing of his runs is very good.

“After that, I believe as well he has that natural physical power that is needed in the Premier League. Without that, you struggle.”

Arsenal return to Europa League action on Thursday night when they take on Red Star Belgrade at The Emirates, as the pair prepare for their fourth Europa League group game of the season. Arsenal are already leading in the Group H after winning their first three matches. The Serbian side have only lost to Arsenal in the competition.

Given the result between the two clubs last week, it perhaps comes as a surprise that it is Arsenal who are the firm favourites to claim all three points in front of their home supporters with the majority of bookmakers. Check ladbrokes free bet tips to place a bet on who comes out on top.

From that, we then travel to Manchester City to take on Pep Guardiola’s men at The Etihad next weekend in a crunch Premier League clash before the final international break of the year.
