It looks like it was Yesterday Arsenal defeated Chelsea 2-1 to win the FA Cup. Within a month, Arteta has continued his trophy haul.

Aubameyang converted Arsenal’s 5th penalty against Liverpool to gift the Gunners their 16th FA Community Shield title.

The Arsenal & Gabonese captain scored the game’s opener in the 12th minute but Takumi Minamino equalised for the Reds in the 73rd minutes.

The equaliser came 14 minutes after the Japanese came on as a substitute. With no more goals in the game, the game was decided on penalties.

Rhian Bewster missed Liverpool’s third but the Gunners converted theirs.

The game looked like a sendforth with questions over the future of players like Martinez, Holding, Niles, Bellerin and El Neny.

Maitland-Niles was exceptional and it is fair to question why he needs to be sold. The birthday also received his first call up to the English National Team. What a day for him. Martineze got the nod to be in goal and he repaid the manager’s faith.

Arteta is growing a winning habit at Arsenal. When he defeated Liverpool in the league last season, Liverpool were already champions. He has done so again in a fresh season.

Congratulations Arsenal and Arteta.
