Arsenal team captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang does not want a transfer to Barcelona or any other club.

It was reported early via reelsofjoy in the week that the Gabon international, alongside Alexandre Lacazette, was being looked at by Barcelona as a potential transfer signing by the club due to the departure of Lionel Messi.

This was refuted by transfer guru Fabrizio Romano who said that “he’s not even a target for Barca, no swap deal with Philippe Coutinho.”

With the new reports, sources now claim that Aubameyang is very much happy with where he is at and that a transfer is far from his mind.

Both Aubameyang and Lacazette were mysteriously missing in action in their club’s season-opener loss against Brentford.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta would not reveal the players’ reasons for missing the game, leading many fans to think that a transfer was on the horizon.

That would not turn out to be the case as it has since been confirmed that the two goal-scorers tested positive for the coronavirus.

At first, the two were only “unwell” according to Arteta, but the new revelation has added fuel to the fire of Arsenal’s tumultuous performance in recent years.

Other players to join the list of Arsenal players who have contracted the virus are former Chelsea winger Willian and goalkeeper Alex Runarsson.

Arsenal’s official website has since addressed their status and mentioned that Aubameyang is “now negative on COVID-19 testing, is well and following all protocols for return to play. He will return to training and be assessed prior to Sunday’s match.”

As for Lacazette, the French striker is confirmed to miss Sunday’s game against Chelsea – wherein the Gunners heads to as an underdog betting with jeux casino and is still recovering from the effects of the virus.

The two strikers have had an up-and-down time at Arsenal, and fans hope that the pair can return to form as the club seeks a better finish than last year’s eighth place in the English Premier League standings.
