Alexander Lacazette came off the bench and scored deep in added time to salvage a point for Arsenal against Crystal Palace at The Emirates.

Aubameyang opened the scoring in the 8th minute after Pepe’s goal board shot was punched unto the path of the Gabonese. He reacted quickest to send the ball into the net.

The Gunners couldn’t capitalize on various chances to extend the lead. The switch flipped as Crystal Palace put pressure on the Gunners.

In second half, Patrick Veira rallied the Eagles. Benteke pulled the visitors level in the 50th minute before Edouard made 2-1 to the visitors in the 73rd minute. Lokonga lost the ball and Edouard put the ball directly beyond Ramsdale.

Both goals came from Arsenal midfielders getting caught in possession.

In injury time, Lacazette latched unto a loose ball in the Palace box to pull Arsenal level just before the final whistle.

Patrick Veira sinking to the Emirates turf signified how much Palace wanted that win and how disappointed he was to concede that late goal.

While Arsenal may have wanted all three points, Arteta will take solace in the late point at the Emirates.
